A Magical Day on Nantucket
Head downtown to Young's Bicycle Shop and rent bikes for the whole family. Young's is celebrating their 90th anniversary this year and has been family owned since 1931!
Bike over to one of our favorite community based coffee shops, Handlebar Café and enjoy a latte and pastry to start the day!
Hop back on your bikes to bike down Baxter Road to see the iconic Sankaty Lighthouse. Don't forget to snap a group pic while you're there!
Bike back into Sconset center to have lunch at the charming Claudette's Sandwich Shop. Enjoy your Sammies on their porch and people watch!
Need a break from the bike? Hop on the Wave shuttle bus and conveniently place your bikes on their bike rack as you ride back into town!
Hop back on the Wave and head to Madaket aka the west end of the island. Once there, spend some time at the beach and enjoy the sun and waves! Need any beach gear or toys? Millie's Market has you covered!
Walk over to Millie's for happy hour margaritas and the best tacos on the island! Don't miss their guacamole and queso! Before you leave Madaket, be sure to catch the most magical and breathtaking sunset down at the beach!
After you enjoy the sunset, jump back on the Wave and ride into town! Once your back, end your day at the iconic Juice Bar for a scoop (or two!) of ice cream, in their famous homemade waffle cones!
And thus ends your day experiencing the magic of the Grey Lady. Whatever you do, be sure to keep exploring as one day on Nantucket is never enough!
